In the winter months, the area transforms into a snowy wonderland perfect for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

While Cold Brook feels wonderfully remote, you're still within easy reach of local shops, cozy diners, and small-town hospitality. Whether you’re seeking an action-packed getaway or a relaxing escape by the water, Cold Brook is the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories.

Parking is free on site and a car is the best method for transportation

Minimum Age to Rent: 18+

✅ We take your safety and security seriously and this property has special local compliance requirements of a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security deposit collection which will be a temporarily hold on the card for any damages. This will be returned back to your card within 7-10 days after your check out date. To make this easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:

Early check-in or late check-out may be available if there is no same-day booking. Requests must be submitted through the Happy Guest portal and are subject to approval.
Failure to vacate the property by the scheduled check-out time may result in additional fees.

GUEST CHECK-IN:
• Entry is provided through keyless access.
• Exterior security cameras are used for guest check-in verification and property security.
• Please ensure your reservation reflects the correct number of guests and pets.

WILDLIFE
As our home is nestled in the Adirondacks, you may occasionally see or hear local wildlife such as chipmunks, squirrels, deer, raccoons, or even the occasional bear. Routine pest control is performed regularly, but nature is part of the experience here.

HOUSE SUPPLIES
We provide a starter supply of essentials including dish pods, paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper to help you settle in comfortably. For longer stays or larger groups, we recommend bringing additional supplies as mid-stay replenishment is not provided.

SMART TV & FIRESTICK
Streaming service logins are not provided. Guests are welcome to log into their personal accounts during their stay.

FIRE PIT
• Firewood and fire-starting supplies are not provided. If you would like firewood delivered prior to arrival, please visit the Happy Guest portal for available options.
• The fire pit must remain covered when not in use.
• Never leave a fire unattended or burning overnight.

PROPERTY SERVICE / MAINTENANCE
Please note that lawn maintenance or exterior services may occur during your stay as part of maintaining the beauty and upkeep of the property.
